Program Overview
The goal of this educational program is to equip urologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other healthcare providers nationwide who are involved in the treatment of patients with bladder cancer with the up-to-date clinical knowledge and tools they need to best diagnose and treat their patients. With growing advancements in immunotherapy treatment of bladder cancer, patients may experience better treatment outcomes.

Learning Objectives

  1. Recognize the role of the immune system in cancer development and resisting carcinogenesis
  2. Describe the mechanism of action of immunotherapy options compared to other therapeutic treatments in bladder cancer
  3. Assess clinical data on different immunotherapy options and their implications on therapy decision making in bladder cancer treatment
  4. Identify the emerging role of biomarkers for immunotherapy treatment in bladder cancer

This activity has been developed and is intended and designed for urologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other healthcare providers involved in the treatment of patients with bladder cancer.
