Innovations in Urologic Practice (Innovations) is an annual, multi-day, CME-accredited conference devoted to innovative diagnostic and treatment strategies for and controversies related to some of the most common urologic problems in the current era. The topics covered include oncological management of the bladder, kidney, and prostate. The conference also emphasizes general urology topics in pelvic reconstruction and trauma, men’s health, and infections in the urology patient. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dr. Davis received his MD from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque. He also completed his Internship in Surgery and Residency in Urology at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and pursued a Fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the University of Miami in Florida. Dr. Davis is currently a Professor in the Department of Surgery and Chief of the Division of Urology at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Dr. Davis has also served as the Surgical Director of Renal Transplant Surgery and the Director of Urology Ambulatory Clinics at UNM School of Medicine. He has been an active member of the American Urologic Association since 2003, and he is involved with the Society of University Urologists and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons as well. Dr. Davis is also a practicing urologist who treats patients in the Albuquerque area. He specializes in stone disease, kidney transplantation, surgical oncology, and trauma and reconstructive surgery.
